Playing around with a dark theme of my own.
It'd be a really simple app, you click on a photo in the first screen and you get the second screen, where you can see the photo up close, and do a bunch of things to it like edit or share it. Clicking on an area that isn't the toolbar would get rid of the toolbars like in iOS.
And instead of a workflow where you go make an album, then start moving things to it, I thought it would make more sense to just have checkboxes (like in Files) to select your photos, then make an album/folder for it. You can also organize photos by time, location, or people (facial recognition magics).
If you check out my svg be prepared for "image not found" in the place of the images (By the fabulous Ian Hex plus.google.com/photos/1125468...
). There were a lot of images and some were pretty big, so if I embedded them it would make my comp lag like crazy.
Minor tweaks, like a consistent location for the zoom slider. Also showing what happens when multiple photos are selected. Not really happy with how it looks.
